Below are the essential tools one needs to create beautiful bonsai:
     
A - Bonsai Sheers, around $35
Use for leaves, trimming roots and great for most other plants! The plastic handle makes it very comfortable to use.

B - Branch cutters, around $52
Cuts branches flush to the trunk and also for those difficult access branches.

C - Jinning tool, around $60
Shaped like a plier, this tool manipulates wire and can strip bark off branches.

 
     
 

The Scoop: Very user friendly and used for soil and pebbles.

Pebbles
: We pack up bags of fine pebbles @ $3.30 each. Used as an aesthetic cover.

Wires: They vary in gauge from 1mm up to 5mm. About $7 each

Mesh: used for drainage hole in bonsai pots. $1.50 per sheet

Fine hair natural bristle brush: Tidy up that bonsai, brush away soil to expose beautiful roots.

A - Osmocote: Slow release fertilizer for your bonsai, $6.95

B - Lime sulfur: use when jinning a branch. $11.95

C - Clean mate: this little bar (similar to pumice) is excellent for cleaning tools. $15.50

D - Wound cream. All the instructions are in Japanese - this cream is used when one tears the branch by mistake. $22

Stainless steel sieve. It is a good idea to recycle your soil. $42
